| Due to the effects of Hurricane Helene and the threat of flooding to Columbia, SC, this event is now virtual. Registration will remain open to all interested through 10 am on 10/2/24 |
| Able South Carolina’s team not only advocates for the employment of people with disabilities, but we also advocate for our community in times of crisis. Due to the effects of Hurricane Helene and the response needed by our community, our team has been hard at work since last week, operating a 24 hour emergency line for people with disabilities. Many members of our team are working directly with emergency management, volunteer groups, and others to ensure the safety and needs of our community are being met. Members of our staff are stepping away from their typical duties to transport needed items and products to those in crisis. Because of this reality, and the potential threat of flooding in the Columbia area, we have made the difficult decision to move the Employer Summit event to a virtual streaming conference. The summit will still take place on October 2, starting at 10 am. |
