Friend,

This morning, meteorologists reported that Hurricane Dorian has shifted east with South Carolina in the direct line of impact. While the hurricane's path may still change in the coming days, South Carolina will inevitably feel some impacts. As we wait to learn more, it is very important that you prepare for the hurricane's landfall.

  1. Make sure to review your emergency plan with yourself and your support system. If evacuation is necessary, make sure you know where you will go.
  2. Gather some necessary supplies such as water, non-perishable foods, and medical supplies.
  3. Follow the news and the National Hurricane Center's updates closely.
