Join us on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, for two free trainings by Dale Verstegen, Senior Research Associate at TransCen! Mr. Verstegen is assigned to a range of research, training, and technical assistance projects related to transition and employment services throughout the country. You can decide which session works best for you and come to either one or both! Lunch will be provided from 12-1 PM.

Session 1: Developing Employment Programs that Economically
Impact Employers

This training will focus on how to effectively serve and engage with employers per a recent study that Dale did with employers through the US Dept of Labor, Office of Disability Employment.
For: Direct service providers
Session 2: Job Development Related to Customized Employment
1:00-4:00 PM
This session will focus on engaging employers in a new and innovative way and share techniques to build relationships, determine employer needs, facilitate the hiring decision, creating jobs, and negotiating the terms of a job offer.
Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided courtesy of the Barbara Stone Foundation.
