Health Equity and Vaccine Accessibility for BIPOC Communities Workshop
Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC) with disabilities are at a higher risk of severe illness and death from both COVID-19 and the flu. This 1-hour virtual workshop explores how agencies and service providers can center health equity to increase vaccine accessibility for BIPOC with disabilities. Participants will learn about relevant demographics and statistics, barriers to vaccination, vaccine hesitancy, and how to address inaccessibility with cultural humility.
